In this 3-hour workshop, you'll start exactly where the pros start — with rough-sawn lumber hand-selected by Cruz from the back of our shop. You'll learn the milling process from the ground up: establishing your first true plane on the jointer, then understanding why every cut, every measurement, and every surface references that critical starting point. It's the foundation of everything in woodworking, and once you get it, you'll never look at a piece of lumber the same way.

By the end of the morning, you'll walk out with a beautiful handcrafted wooden box — built from raw lumber, by your own hands, using the same process and professional-grade tools that fine furniture makers use every day.

No experience necessary. Just show up ready to make something real.
