Ever watched a spinning piece of wood transform into something beautiful? Now it's your turn. Join Cruz for an introduction to woodturning — a live spindle demonstration followed by guided hands-on practice at the lathe. He'll walk you through the fundamentals of lathe operation, tool selection, and turning technique, then you'll step up and try it yourself with hands-on support.

This session is a little different from our typical workshops. Rather than walking away with a finished project, you'll walk away with foundational turning skills and the confidence to keep going. Think of it as a deep dive into the craft itself — the feel of the tools, the behavior of the wood, the rhythm of the lathe.
