Launch into Summer with Medieval Engineering Magic!

Celebrate the end of the school year by building something awesome! In this 2-hour workshop designed for kids ages 8-14, young makers will construct their very own wooden tabletop catapult while learning fundamental woodworking skills, basic physics principles, and fascinating medieval history.

What They'll Make: Each participant will build a fully functional wooden catapult with a spring-loaded arm, adjustable tension, and a sturdy base. These handcrafted siege weapons are perfect for launching the included soft pom-poms (and perhaps marshmallows at home).

What They'll Learn:

  • Safe tool handling and woodworking basics

  • Simple mechanics and physics of projectile motion

  • Measuring, marking, and assembly techniques

  • Medieval history and the role of catapults

  • Problem-solving and fine motor skills

Perfect for beginners – no prior experience needed! Each child must be accompanied by an adult (one adult can supervise up to two children). All materials, tools, and safety equipment provided, plus light refreshments to fuel their creativity.
