WHERE YOUNG MAKERS DISCOVER WHAT THEY'RE CAPABLE OF

Remember the pride of creating something with your own hands as a kid? That feeling of "I made this!" that stays with you for years? That's what we deliver, along with serious skills, confidence that transfers to everything else they do, and mementos that last a lifetime.

Our camps put real tools in kids' hands with expert guidance that transforms curiosity into capability. No popsicle sticks or glue guns here – just authentic woodworking that challenges, engages, and rewards.

WHAT PARENTS & KIDS SAY

"My 9-year-old daughter came home from camp talking about table saws and joinery—words I never expected to hear from her! She's incredibly proud of her projects and has already asked when she can come back. This was hands-down the best camp experience she's had."

— Maria P., Parent

"I didn't want to go at first because I thought woodworking was just for boys. But now I'm better at using tools than my dad! I made a jewelry box all by myself and everyone thinks I bought it from a store."

 — Lily, Age 11

"As a teacher, I appreciate how Sawdust Studios respects kids' capabilities. They don't dumb things down—they elevate expectations and give kids the support to meet them. My son thrived in this environment and gained valuable skills beyond woodworking."

— James T., Parent & Educator

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

EVERYTHING PARENTS NEED TO KNOW

  • Our camps accommodate kids ages 6-16, with projects and instruction tailored to different age groups. Younger children (6-8) work with simpler tools and more assistance, while older kids gradually gain independence with more advanced tools and techniques.

  • None at all! Our beginner camps assume no prior knowledge. We start with the basics and build skills progressively throughout the week.

  • Kids should wear comfortable clothes they can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. For half-day camps, bring a snack and water bottle. Full-day campers should bring lunch and two snacks. All tools, materials, and safety equipment are provided.

  • We believe everyone can be a maker and work to accommodate various learning needs. Please contact us in advance about any specific accommodations, and we'll work with you to ensure a positive experience for your child.
