Shop Safety Class

Duration: 2 hours Required: Closed-toe shoes (no exceptions) Required Materials: None (other safety equipment will be provided during class)

Class Overview

This mandatory safety class provides essential training for all new shop members. You'll learn proper tool usage, safety requirements, and shop rules that will allow you to work safely in our facility.

Important: Dress Code

You must wear closed-toe shoes to attend this class. For your safety, anyone arriving in open-toed shoes will not be permitted to take the class.

Important Pre-Class Requirements

After registration, you will receive an email containing required safety forms and documentation. Please complete these forms online before coming to class.

Note: If you do not complete the forms beforehand, you will need to fill them out at the beginning of class, which will take approximately 15 minutes of valuable class time.

Class Completion Requirements

1. Attendance of full 2-hour class

2. Submission of all required forms (Forms will be supplied in a follow up email after signing up for this class)

3. Passing the safety quiz with a score of 100% (

   • Retakes are allowed

   • Must be passed before shop access is granted

Upon meeting all requirements, you will be granted shop access privileges. This certification must be renewed annually.

Safety Notice

For everyone's safety, full attention and participation is required during the entire class. Anyone displaying unsafe behavior or not following safety protocols may be asked to leave and retake the class.
